Biography

Dr. Esraa is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in Art & Design and a strong focus on quality assurance. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Coordinator for Art & Design, she previously held the position of Director of the program, demonstrating her leadership capabilities and commitment to excellence.

Dr. Esraa’s educational journey is marked by notable achievements and international experiences. She earned her undergraduate degree from “The High Institute of Applied Arts” in 2008, followed by a Master’s Degree in 2013 from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University. Her academic pursuits took her abroad when she received the prestigious “Baden Württemberg” scholarship to study as an exchange student in Germany in 2010.

Continuing her academic endeavors, Dr. Esraa earned her Doctoral Degree of Engineering in Fiber Science & Engineering from the Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT), Japan, in 2017. Her research in this field showcases her interdisciplinary approach and commitment to advancing knowledge in the realm of art and engineering.

Undeterred by the challenges of pursuing multiple doctoral degrees, Dr. Esraa further expanded her academic horizons by earning her second Doctoral Degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, in 2020. This achievement reflects her dedication to scholarly excellence and her pursuit of academic distinction.

In recognition of her academic prowess and potential, Dr. Esraa was awarded the JASSO scholarship for post-doctoral studies at KIT, Japan, in both 2021 and 2023. These opportunities have allowed her to continue her research and contribute to the academic community on a global scale.
