Nanoscience Students Gain Hands-On Experience at the Arab Organization for Industrialization

At Galala University, knowledge and skills go hand in hand to prepare students for real-world challenges through experiential learning and hands-on training. In line with this approach, students from the Nanoscience and Technology Program, led by Dr. Radwa Abou Saleh, embarked on an insightful field trip to the Electronics Factory at the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI).

The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to explore the practical applications of nanotechnology within industrial settings. They witnessed firsthand how nanotechnology is integrated into the factory’s production lines and how it contributes to advancing technologies that enhance efficiency and product quality.

During the tour, the students also gained a deeper understanding of the factory’s wide-ranging applications across various sectors, including renewable energy, agriculture, medical equipment, and household appliances. This experience enriched their appreciation of the vital role nanoscience plays in driving innovation and supporting sustainable industrial development in Egypt.

Through such practical experiences, Galala University continues to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice—empowering students with the skills and insights needed to become future innovators in emerging technologies.
