The financial and banking sectors have undergone rapid transformations due to significant technological advancements, leading to the emergence of new tools and systems. These include digital and cryptocurrencies, crowdfunding platforms, and electronic payment systems. Technological progress in areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity has driven radical changes in banking and financial institutions—often termed “technological disruptions.” This evolution necessitates new business models, innovative financial tools, and systems that address the emerging risks associated with technology in the financial sector.
