#Space_technology is specifically recognized as one of the keys to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 Egypt vision. And there’s no better place than the #Egyptian_Space_Agency to have some insights about the latest technologies utilized in this field. Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Shinawi, #GU Acting President, accompanied by #GU_students and professors, conducted a field trip there where they were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed el Qousy, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency. The visit was an eye-opener for the students as they explored the different stages of the design, manufacture, and test of the satellites. They also visited some of the agency’s labs and attended info sessions given by experts from the Agency. A big thank you to all members of the Agency for receiving us and giving such an informative presentation to our students.

قام أمس وفد من #جامعة_الجلالة برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور محمد الشناوي، القائم بأعمال رئيس #جامعة_الجلالة، وضم أعضاء من هيئة التدريس وطلبة من مجالات مختلفة، بزيارة ميدانية لوكالة الفضاء المصرية لبحث سبل التعاون بين الجهتين. وكان في استقبال الوفد الأستاذ الدكتور محمد القوصى، الرئيس التنفيذى للوكالة وعدد من الخبراء. ومن خلال الجولة العلمية داخل الوكالة، تم شرح مراحل تجميع واختبار الأقمار الصناعية للطلبة وقاموا بزيارة عدد من المعامل منها معمل النموذج الهندسي ومعمل الأقمار الصناعية التعليمية. كذلك، حضر الطلاب عدد من المحاضرات التي أعدها خبراء الوكالة وشرحوا فيها كيفية تصميم وتصنيع واختبار الأنظمة الفرعية للأقمار الصناعية. وفي نهاية الزيارة، تبادل الأستاذ الدكتور محمد الشناوي الدروع التذكارية مع الأستاذ الدكتور محمد القوصى وأعرب عن شكره البالغ لترتيب هذه الزيارة حيث تعرَف الطلبة على تكنولوجيا الأقمار الصناعية وتطور هذا المجال في مصر.
