Galala University Students Spread Joy at the National Oncology Institute
At Galala University, community service is more than just an activity—it’s a core value deeply embedded in the university’s philosophy. The belief that true education extends beyond the classroom drives GU students to engage with their communities, give back to society, and foster compassion and empathy as part of their personal and professional growth.
In this spirit, students from the Applied Health Sciences Technology Program visited the National Oncology Institute, where they spent time with children undergoing treatment. During their visit, the students distributed Galala University giveaways, bringing smiles and moments of happiness to the young patients.
The students also demonstrated their commitment to humanitarian values by donating blood, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and care that defines Galala University’s approach to community engagement.
Through such initiatives, Galala University continues to nurture socially responsible graduates who not only excel academically but also understand the power of kindness, empathy, and collective contribution in building a healthier, more compassionate society.
